Well explained and very useful for all CFD engineers.. nowadays most of the training centre asking too much money for advanced CFD analysis..your lecture useful for most of the people

I am running a 2D transient simulation(VOF Fluent) in which vapor bubbles are generated at the bottom surface of a rectangular domain that is initially full of water with heat flux given at the bottom wall. I was trying to patch a single vapor bubble by creating a hemispherical region. I can see my volume fraction contour with the bubble after patching a hemispherical region at the bottom of the liquid. The simulation is also running perfectly when I click on "Run Calculation". When I do this same bubble patch operation through a DEFINE_INIT UDF, I can see the bubble getting patched in the vapor phase contour, but the calculation is not running. It is giving the following error in the 1st iteration itself. When I compile build and load my udf .it is not coming to the boundary condition as I am giving a boundary condition udf. Can suggest me the reason behind it

Hi, great video again. Is there a way to input a data file for heat generation rate for battery cell with respect to time. as battery heat per volume changes as per usage for an EV. if there's a csv file with data of heat gen rate(w/m^3) and time in second. is there a way to input the data and run the simulation

Dear Sir, I have one question about the in inlet and outlet boundary conditions. The molten salt enter a pipe with 5m lenght and 20mm diameter and 500k . The pipe is made of stainless steel. The heat flux is 800,000kW/m2. So how much should be the inlet flow rate up to we receive the outlet tempereture 800K. It will be highly appreciated when you guide e the boundary conditions in inlet and outlet in such a case. Thank you.

how do i use an expression for velocity inlet varrying over time. i have a set of data with velocity and time data. how do input it inside the expression editor in velocity magnitude of inlet

Our project is to modeling and simulation for friction stir Welding. In this welding process metal is plastically flowing. Inorder to simulate this we need to a udf function that tells about mechanical behaviour of material in plastic. Flowing state.

Hello @Sofen , I am trying to do as suggested in your tutorial. However, when I tried to do initialization , fluent crashes. It gives 9999 accept mpt error Any idea why?

You are accessing some variable that is not defined in the solver. That is why solver is crashing.

@@SofenKumarJena I did exactly as you mentioned for viscosity. Could there be problem with time? The problem is coming with initialization
