Cheaper, will remain cheap, you tied down your money and be prepared to pass it down to the next generation. SG properties expensive but appreciate faster.
Different property agents would advise you differently. Even johor friends did not buy property in jb for investment. I heard those buyers who bought the forest city development incurred loss of RM300k or more. Lesson to learn : don't be greedy.

You are not a wise investor as you did not consider currency exchange risks when buying jb property. Also, you could not speak the local language, mind you, you cannot compare jb price with other countries.
