After rewatching the series more than five times now, and then rereading the novel, and reading through the Manhua and listening to the audio drama-it hurts, the way you see Wangji wanting so badly to just approach Wei Ying. That sheer look of relief in his eyes that “ok Wei Ying is alive, he’s safe, he’s okay”. And then they part ways bitterly. The thing is, LZ doesn’t want to take WY back to Gusu to punish him or have him be judged by the elders-but rather he wants to help WY from spiraling down a dark path that he can never return from.

I rewatched so many times too and I finally get it... WY was so unconscious bout LZ's feelings and LZ was barely accepting them so he can confess WY but he couldn't until it was too late... They both really took their time to realize and that waiting is so heartbreaking. Bye I'm gonna cry bout CQL one more time

Hmmm... I did that too, read, watched again and again.. and still cried on the sad part of the story, how much more the actors who did this movie. I've seen one bts of this movie where yibo can't stop crying, carried away with the story.

See in the beginning he was calling him Wei Ying and then after his tone and name changed just like that. Lan Zhan becomes more frustrated with him doing wrong then anything else. He is glad he is back but this time Wei Ying is no more the playful young man from the cave 😩

The Lan Wangji question: "Why did you give up the sword for something else" & his demand the Answer in minute 3:00 is what he will remember again when Wen Ning reveals the truth about Wei Ying losing his golden core to he give it to Jiang Cheng in episode 48 (I think if I remember correctly the scene). And that's hurt him/Lan Wangji more because he not trusted enough for Wei Ying character or good intention at that time because his worry for Wei Ying well being

Here he defends Wei Ying against Lan Zhan. But when Wen Ning comes out and tells the story of what Wei Ying did for Jiang Cheng, ie gave up his core, then Jiang Cheng gets pissed at Wei Ying. I believe Jiang Chang knew what Wei Ying gave up for him, but he didn't get mad about it until Wen Ning told the story in front of Lan Zhan. Now there are 2 people who know what Wei Ying gave up and Jiang Cheng was pissed about it. Why ? Wasn't it that Wei Ying was supposed to be (and honestly was) higher ranking than Jiang ? Jiang is jealous of Wei Ying.

Os atores são extraordinários justamente por conseguir nos transmitir tantas emoções de forma tão profunda. O Lan Xhan fala pouco mas o ator nos fala tanto com seu olhar e expressões. A escolha desse elenco foi perfeita.

Wei Ying diverted to using talisman instead of sword because he no longer have his inner core/golden core. He transferred it to his brother Jiang cheng to keep him alive. No one knows except Wen ning and his sister Wen qing. Wenning will soon confess the truth to Jiang cheng and Lan Wanji, soon Lan Wanji will understand and pity him then realize on how WWX sufferred a lot when he lost his golden core.

Eles são homens, se você estiver confusa por causa do tamanho do cabelo, nos dramas chineses antigos é comum os homens ter cabelos compridos, e sobre os nomes, no começo é um pouco complicado de decorar, mas com o tempo você se acostuma, alguns personagens possuem três nomes ( o de nascimento, cortesia e o título) o de nascimento só pessoas íntimas podem chamar ele ( caso contrário pode ser considerado desrespeitoso) O de cortesia é o mais comum de ser usado (todos podem chamar) e o título alguns personagens acabam recebendo no decorrer da história ( Devido a alguns acontecimentos também) para entender melhor e com mais facilidade, recomendo que assista o dorama completo (tem aqui no youtube).
