Fact is Wei Ying never told about his secrets to anybody other than him. I just loved that bonding. After returning from the burial Mountain..... That was the First time they frankly spoke to each other and Wei Ying was actually smiling in this very scene after a long time.

3:47 the pain in LZ heart during that time, if you have invested too much in understanding the novel, (most versions are altered and modefied so i still stick to the novel), at this very time stamp, the actor Wang Yibo delivered with certainty what LZ in the novel felt...gosh. i cried seeing that pain in his eyes.

He just wants to HELP YOU WEI WUXIAN PLEASE😭😭😭 i mean i know how this goes-i’ve seen it so many times but imagine if things were different and WWX JUST ACCEPTED THE HELP THEY WERE GIVING HIM😭😭i know it’s not easy but GOD it’s so painful to just watch him suffer and Lan Zhan is suffering too because the man he loves is like this and he can’t do anything about it 😭😭😭

I think WWX wanted LZ to be with him too,it's just that he felt like LZ doesn't trust him that much, that is why he didn't accept his help😔.

@@SweetEyesBabe_MumuBilly that is exactly it. Also he feels as though he doesnt deserve LZ’s help. Cause if you notice, WWX often mentions LZ’s status and standing in society, the same goes for future episodes, even in the present period. He is worried about tarning the great Hanguang Jun with his use of necromancy.

Well, Lan Wangji can be very difficult to understand. For one, he wasn’t the clearest communicator back then, and Wei Wuxian already thought he didn’t trust him. So can we blame Wei Wuxian for misunderstanding Lan Wangji? And more importantly, the thing that caused this misunderstanding was so monumental that it pained Wei Wuxian to talk about it, and he feared how people would react if the truth came out, especially Jiang Cheng or Jiang Yanli. He made the sacrifice for Jiang Cheng and he was very prideful. If Jiang Cheng learned what Wei Wuxian gave up on his behalf, the truth would break him (as we see later on.) And Jiang Yanli is a gentle, kind soul. If she learn what her shidi sacrificed for her brother, she’d be devastated. So (from where I’m standing) Wei Wuxian thought it was better to be seen as a rogue figure than a pitiful one. 💔😢😭

@@nikkiimagination True. And all he did was living proof that he cared about others very much. When the big reveal takes place, the shock and pain in Lan Zhan's eyes are out of proportions. The scene in the animation was shorter, but even there, Lan Zhan is visibly in pain and shock. He loved and cared so much about Wei Ying for years, but at that point he understands just how big of a sacrifice WY made and he regretted scolding him for using dark magic. He understood that otherwise WY would have died even earlier.

Lan Zhan x Wei Ying ❤️❤️ Lan Zhan and Wei Ying fell for each other at first sight. Lan Zhan's love is unconditional, he loved, cared, protected and believed in him for whoever he was whether right or wrong, sane or insane, good or bad and was ready to heal, and mend for him for whoever he might become. Lan Zhan wanted and took him to Gusu to live together safely. In the end, they are together ❤️ Wei Ying loved and missed Lan Zhan dearly but he was doing things that will lead to his demise and always tried convince Lan Zhan, to let him be and go to his demise, believe in his half-hearted lies which Lan Zhan very clearly knew isn't true, which Lan Zhan could never do, so Wei Ying tried to convince him and misunderstood him, he couldn't except the degree of Lan Zhan's unconditional love for him, and that Lan Zhan loved him and stayed by his side no matter who he might be or become, avoid and shake him, and even pushed him away to put him to safety. Because through all those good deeds and twisted methods for justice to protect others, he was actually causing his and all their demise, and Lan Zhan could neither deny Wei Ying to protect others or do justice when Wei Ying asks him for that literally holding Lan Zhan's heart in his hands, but he couldn't see him go to his demise either.

Well, neither of them are good communicators. At this point, LZ in unaware of what happened before WY went missing for a few months. WY didn't tell anyone about what he did to save his brother. Also, he thinks LZ doesn't trust him, so them fighting was bound to happen.

As much as WWX was trying to protect Jiang Cheng, of all people who could keep a secret, it would be LZ. I think he also had his own pride keeping him from telling LZ, which in turn shows that to some extent he doesn’t yet completely trust LZ.
