I can see why Zitong is so into Yiming. The guy's really understanding. He's also encouraged her to find something she is passionate about and not just focus on pursuing him. He liked her, but he also helped her grow. You'd think after years of being friends, Yicheng would learn a thing or two from him, but sadly no.

The question is why do you want to chase her? 🤔 Just let her go. Then your dream maker game gave you a revelation you can no longer ignore.

Yicheng personality exhibits cockyness and arrogance which serves as a hindrance in his relationship with Luli. He likes her but resorts to the contract whenever he feels threaten or doesn't feel he owes her any explanation,which often dismisses and diminishes her feelings. Yiming is extremely intuitive ,sensitive, caring and understanding. Throughout this drama he constantly was advising or suggesting to Yicheng on what and how he should be interacting with Luli. Yicheng didn't pay attention or take heed. He was too busy thinking he was correct which is why Luli left. Yicheng arrogance and lack of understanding/caring resulted in Luli leaving him.

Luli had a contract marriage with him, knowing that it was a one sided love. She just kept hoping that one day he might fall in love with her, so she put up with all the insults, humiliation etc and was glad for any scraps of affection from him. Lots of comments on him being naive or have low EQ. IMO, he's not naive or have low EQ, first of all, he had been in love and gotten badly hurt by LIman so he knows what love is and secondly, when Liman came back, he started to lie to Luli. He continued to disrespect and insult Luli in front of Liman and coworkers, he never showed Luli any respect or praise her as a wife or an employee. Everyone told him to be careful of Liman, but he didn't listen and even after finding out that Liman arranged to kill Luli, delete the game and other stuff, he just let Liman go, no punishment. That alone shows he has deep feelings for Liman. And it was only after reading the blog, he suddenly got an "epiphany" to realize he loved Luli?? It was more like pity. It was the coworkers who investigated what Liman did, goes to show he believed whatever Liman told him. But the writers need a "happy" ending, so if pity replaces love, it's all good.
