All that matters about this is that they tried their best and i believe that a story (correct me if I'm wrong) of modern Chinese soldiers in a WW2 scenario is a great plot and the fact that they were using weaponry of that era indicates that they possibly lost their weapons or had to leave them behind for there was no/not enough ammo for them or were difficult to maintain

I am Chinese. Every soldier in World War II was very serious in defending the country. Although this film is not very objective, it was filmed in China after all... But I pay tribute to the martyrs at the time! I am the people of the Republic of China, not a communist Yes, I may be more excited, sorry, hahaha

And you can see it’s not a big production, naive and laughable. By the way, it’s not a Chinese propaganda, believe me, the best Chinese propaganda is truth， rationality and scientific. For example, do the right things to control the virus and quickly recovery. When the western medias and governments were talking about 4 freedoms, the people also have the freedom of death. Now they have to take more same measures from Chinese experience to lock down the city. The development of modern China is the greatest propaganda to the world, only intelligent persons and peoples who respect knowledge can join in this process.
