The best part was watching the husband/wife working together as a team. They defeated Lianfang together/brought her to justice. This entire ordeal brought the closer together. She doesn't run away from his touch anymore. She actually embraced him. Lianfang tried to destroy them but she ended up bringing the closer together. Seriously this girl has some nerve...she actually fixed her mouth to say that Yuanniang deserved to die because she wasn't a good person. What about her? She's quick to point out Yuanniang's shortcomings but she doesn't take a moment to look at her own actions. She killed two innocent people/was ready to kill another one just to obtain the object of her obsession. This girl is crazy. She did a lot of horrible things because she believes she's the only one that deserves to be by his side....seriously? She didn't care about him. He was just an obsession to her. The best part was her coming to the realization that he never loved her. She spent all that time convincing herself that he loved her/now she finally knows the truth. The fact that he doesn't love her devastated her more than anything else. The GM doesn't even know what to say....lol She should feel like an idiot for trusting Lianfang after all that she has done. How do you face the woman that you brutally kicked out of the house? Once the truth was finally revealed she had to listen to how her constant protection enabled Lianfang to run rampant without fear. She created a monster. I'm petty as hell....I would be rubbing her face in it....lol

It took 10 yrs to come to realization. I wonder what would have happened in 20 yrs ijs? He has never been romantic with her. He never hugged or kissed her. I think he might have had one meal with her on her birthday.

Well she had the GM and her maids in her ear telling her to be patient because he loves her...so her delusions would've continued to grow despite the fact that he never gave her a second glance. She was never going to accept the truth because it wasn't what she wanted to hear....reality set in when he confirmed that he never once had feelings for her....she destroyed her life for nothing

She never had to take responsibility for her actions before so why start now. She relied on her social status...thinking that it will protect her from the consequences of her actions. Her parents did her a great disservice by allowing her to believe that she's better than everyone else. The GM also has a hand in this too because she kept covering for her...and protecting her from being punished when she screwed up. The entitlement ran deep in this one.

She still managed to absolve herself of guilt...even though she's the one that created such a toxic environment for her family when she forced her son to marry Lianfang. She's responsible for everything that transpired....and even more so whenever she stepped in to shield her from punishment. They tried to tell her about the dog incident but she refused to believe it...and her grandson nearly died because of her actions. She should've stepped down as matriarch after this whole thing...she's not fit to run the Xu family.

Actually she don’t really forced to be the concubine. Her plan was to kill the first wife then replace her and get rid of the first wife’s son. The first wife knew her intention and set her to be the concubine and arrange shiyi to be the next wife so that her sister can take good care of her son. If she didn’t plan to kill his wife, she won’t have this ending also, karma…

She knew that he didn't love her before she became his concubine...she thought that she could make him fall in love with her...but it didn't work. He never wanted to be with her...she chose to be his concubine even after he refused. His mother is the one that forced him into accepting her as a concubine. She doesn't love him...she loves the little boy that helped her when she was a child. She doesn't even know him...she never tried to get to know him. Her obsession drove her crazy....She killed his first wife/unborn child because she thought the GM would help her become his next wife...they didn't plan on his late wife stepping in and ruining their plans. She tried to kill Shiyi as well. She was evil...she didn't care about the consequences...she wanted him...and that's all that matters. Her karma finally came...the most devastating part for her was the realization that he never once loved her.

Love your comment....lol The old lady was complicit in what happened...every time she excused her behavior or covered for her...she's just as responsible. The girl was delusional from the start....and her delusions just kept growing...she doesn't know the first thing about love. She never loved him...she loved the idea of him. She ended up ruining her life for a man that never loved her.
