Shiyi is has a good heart but sometimes she's too forgiving. I understand Amber's predicament but at the same time loyalty is paramount. She should've trust Shiyi a long time ago. I'm actually impressed that she chose to sacrifice herself in order to protect Shiyi but her sacrifice won't stop Madame Luo's from scheming against Shiyi. She will continue to attack Shiyi in order to make her submit to her will. She thought she had the upper hand when Shiyi's mother died but she didn't understand her inner strength. There was no way that she was going to let Madame Luo win. It's one of the main reasons that she's so angry with Shiyi. When her daughter was matron of the Xu family she helped her maiden family. Shiyi doesn't have any loyalty to them. I don't see Amber keeping her promise especially since she's so desperate to find her sister. I'm glad that Shiyi knows that she can trust Lingyi. He rejected Amber/was ready to punish her. He loves his wife/he would never betray her. Shiyi doesn't need to worry about him seeking out more concubines because he completely ignores the ones he's already has....lol He is loyal to her. Dongqing is a gem. She sees how he treats Shiyi/she knows that he really cares for her. There is no room for anyone else in his heart.
