That was funny when Shiyi let Zhun make a decision, then he looks at everybody to make sure it’s his decision to make. Shiyi is smart and explains both sides of a situation so that kid can make a decision.

I love that too, it builds a bond of trust with her and her son. I just wished she has pushed back a little at the concubine reminding her of her status. She shouldn't speak the masters do. But knowing how the GM is so biased it would be wrong

It's a common trick in Asian TV. By default old people must be respected, so unfair elders are the best way to create a tough conflict for the main characters to labour on.
