He resented her so much that he practically tormented her with his sole presence. Everytime they were nice to each other, he would shift his mood and punish her emotionally. He even told her that he would never forgive her, that way she wont be able to forgive herself. Thats cold. Each time she distanced herself from him, he roped her back. He was playing with her up until he found out his paternity. He found fault in her logic and in anything that she did. But, he ended up having one of the best character development in C- Dramas.

Never get tired of watching XIN Qi (Wang Ziqi) and Min Hui (Wang Yuwen). They are so compatible and cute and adorable ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰. They ARE MY FAVORITE ACTOR and ACTRESS 💕💕💕💕💕. Hope they do become a real life 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 COUPLE. I tried watching other series BUT The Love You Give Me ❤️❤️❤️ is the BEST 5 STAR ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SERIES ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

She "deceived" him 5 years earlier by pretending to be Su Tian, a girl who grew up with him in an orphanage. She died in a bus accident and urged her not to make him suffer. They fell in love and conceived a baby, but he eventually found out and kicked her out of his life. He is bitter that she moved on and has what he wanted, not knowing that they both shared it. He wants to make her feel the way he felt back then. So, Min Hui is punished career-wise, and even affects her personal life. The bitterness that she has is because he won't let the pass go and move on. He is threatening her peace and her child's paternity. In this episode, she tells him what he told her years ago. That he never wanted to see her again. She took it to heart and feared that if he knew he had a child, he would want custody of him. His silence tells you everything. It's like he was trying to get back together with her, but couldn't forget the past. It was bigger than him.

@jt6231 Yeah, he gets my blood boiling sometimes. He wanted her to be just as miserable as him, even at the expense of his own child (even though he didn't know that at the time). He made her choose multiple times between her son and her job, not knowing that he was sick. If you see most of the drama, you will see that it is mostly what he wants and what he feels. His emotions get the best of him.
