Great video thanks, @ 1:31, you have blurred out UserObjectID but when you have hovered the mouse over the output you can see the full string.

Thanks for reporting it! The value is a local ID so it's not really important, so we decided it was not worth the remaster the video (which would lose the original link). Thanks again!

Services uses AD username, not the domain.

It looks like USERNAME() although works fine in Desktop, is not working in the Service :)

It should work - it is designed for the Service!

@@SQLBI It does not display USERNAME() value in a card. Shows Error in Service, although in Desktop it displays correct value. However it turns out that it returns domain\username in Desktop and user email address in Service.

You are probably making some other mistake - it works correctly also in the service in a card. Open a ticket with Microsoft support to further investigate what is not working on your tenant.

Hi sir, how to retrieve user id in power bi service, as username function returns email id and not user id.
