Anybody else notice the extra drum-set on the stage with nobody playing it? That kit belongs to Mr. Aaron Spears. He was the drummer for Usher and Alicia Keys, (and a few others). He died a few months ago at the age of 47, and his drum set on stage in memorial is a great tribute to the legend in the drumming community.

As a Nigerian viewer, I'm truly impressed by the organization, dance routines, choreography, lights, music arrangement, timing and overall spectacle of the performance. It's evident that America truly excels in show business, and my fellow Black brothers in the USA showcase remarkable talent. The ability to condense such a detailed and rich performance into just 13 minutes is truly amazing. I see pure excellence.

People saying “these are Michael moves not Ushers” who the hell do you think taught Usher to dance? Usher used to look up to him growing up and would study his moves and in 2001, they had a dance off sharing the stage. And a few years prior to Mj’s death they did a few events together and he learned a lot from him. So obviously he had inspired dance moves from Michael.

People don't realize the homage and respect Usher brought to the old school half-time shows and the venue. Marching bands were a staple of half-time shows and was long forgotten and brought it back and showed the dazzle and glamor of acrobatic performances Vegas is famous for. All blended together with his old school music and bringing the original performers for his hits rather than doing it solo.

The way he used the arena as his stage, selection of guest appearances, pace of the performed songs, his vocal ability while dancing, inclusion skating and stripping and the thoughtful tribute to his legends and the beautiful and heartfelt tribute to his drummer….. I literally have tears in my eyes!!! I grew up with Usher from the 90's, but this doesn't even move MJ's as the top. Not dissing, but MJ was literally an alien, every performance he looked like he was in his prime. But this Usher ain't in his prime.... But aye, that could be due to his playboy....Everyone knows Usher been smashing 10's since 16. But yeh, he seemed out of breath. All these new Superbowls, having legends out of breath. MJ's was straight on point imo, & I don't think many will disagree. But still a great performance at 45;👏👏
