Sexyy Red is probably the worst female rapper I've ever heard. It doesn't matter what she raps about. She is making hip hop and especially the female hip hop scene look really bad because she's point blank not a good rapper and female rap doesn't have enough big names to combat that. Male rap still has a Nas, Kendrick, J.Cole and Eminem for example that can easier drown out the bad rappers. Female rap doesn't even has four people. You just have Nicki Minaj and Cardi B with a Megan Thee Stallion and Latto perhaps getting to that same type of mainstream fame and success

Silent listener here! The Ice Spice and Latto beef was mostly instigated by female rapper stans. But Nicki is the root because of her and Latto’s beef which partially has to do with her general relationship with the new rap girls and the way she goes about embracing them. People have accused her of being bitter and not showing them love or point out how she picks and chooses. So her response to that was collaborating with Ice Spice and signing her to some kind partnership deal under her new label, and signing some up & coming talent. Some of the stans like to create something out nothing and have the artists thinking it’s real.

If she was a good rapper more people then just Drake would collaborate with her. When it comes to the Usher tribute, Childish Gambino was ok the auto tune was missing up and you could hear it so I was surprised that people was saying he did well lol, but then it all made sense once I got on twitter it looks like no one was interested in a all women tribute to a man. They all wanted Men to sing, but the most disappointing part was seeing the male singers throw shade at the women I was actually shocked by that.

I agree with the sayvon’s sexy redd’s take but for a different reason. I don’t mind the vulgarity of the music if the quality is there but there’s no quality or talent with sexy redd. Same thing with “my neck my back” but she was just a one hit wonder. Sexy Redd is a successful artist at this point but why? Where’s the talent? And to the Future analogy, although he has some songs that I rocked with, the same thing applies to him too. Where’s the talent? Travis Scott targeted young people in the beginning but the quality of his music is high and he’s talented so he’s a good artist in my book unlike sexy redd or future. So I think if I had kids, I wouldn’t mind them listening to a Travis Scott or a sexually vulgar artist like bad bunny because the quality or talent is there. But if I catch them listening to a sexy redd, then I’ll tell them to turn it off because it’s trash lol.
