2020 and I just found out he passed away (I got back into reruns of the show) - Rest In Peace Roy - you could tell he had a huge heart under the rough facade and was good at what he did - “I hate big cities because they’re full of stupid people” - Roy Garber

He was the reason i watched the show. Man when i heard he passed it just sucked cause he was the humor in shipping wars.

What the late Roy Garber did with this giant Buzz Lightyear that he shipped for free to this young widowed and his lovely little kid is one of the most touching, wonderful and inspirationnal things EVER. Whoever makes a little kid happy is a real LIFE HERO. RIP Mister Garber. You were one of a kind and a CLASSY One at that.

Roy Royota Garber was an amazing man, he told it how it was! He was truthful and sometimes the truth hurts! Roy was a mans man. The guy worked hard and played harder! He lived life to the fullest. The man was Mr. Perfect! I truly wish that I could have met this man and worked with him in construction as I work in construction. God bless him and muffy.

Holy cow. Due to this epademic i started watching this show called Shipping Wars. It started growing on me. I began to like the drivers. Roy was funny. I just couldn't believe he passed away 6 friggin years ago. How sad. Wow i didn't even know. He smoked alot.

Whenever I doubt myself, I watch the reruns of Roy. He lifts me up and reminds me of the importance of life, doing your job, don't slack off, and never giving up. What you saw on that show was Roy Garber. Not a dramatized, reality show character. Roy and his team moved me from NYC to SW FL just before this show premiered. He was exactly the same as he was on the show. Fluffy and Arbie were there, too. They were all such awesome people...Roy, you are greatly missed and now I know why you never got back to me about another move. Sorry I missed you.
