Maquoketa Iowa is a place I’m a bit familiar with since I was born and grew up in Carroll County Illinois which is just across the river from Jackson County Iowa . I do have a lot of trouble with spelling it though. 😢

From Australia I saw an electoral reference to Iowa. Its attractions and architecture are surprisingly beautiful and sometimes quirky though I imagine its cornfields would be a bore. What a little treasure state it is. It looks orderly and peaceful. .

This soundtrack is a sample of what Artificial Intelligence may bring to narrations of all sorts. A brief phone call to the Iowa tourist bureau would have enabled all of the names to be pronounced correctly. At least, she didn't sound both esses in Des Moines.

I have some problems with that list. Im going in reverse order and starting with food since the A.I. voiceover obviously cant get hungry. 6. Smoky D's in des moines. 5. Mt Hamill chicken. 4.The bridges of madison county. 3. Field of Dreams in Dyersville. 2. Midwest Old Thresher's Reunion in Mt Pleasant. And 1, Kinnick Stadium on a fall home Saturday. Youre welcome. Supreme Court of Iowa is not in the Capitol building. It's in a smaller building on the south side of the capital complex.

I teach in a community college in another state and every day I always have a travel video playing as students saunter in. I love Iowa and go there every summer, so I thought I would do Iowa today. I muttered to myself "She doesn't know how to pronounce Des Moines," but as soon as she said Street Joseph, I realized it was AI and just turned it off.

She's never been in Iowa! Pronounced lots of the towns and area's wrong. Mack-wah-kah-ta and Lowes hills. If you're going to do show about a state, do your homework!!

AI narration that mispronounced the cities and names of features. Since I live in Iowa, and have been to many of these places, it really grates on my nerves to hear so many being mispronounced.
