Question from Perth, Western Australia... Why are the side walks the responsibility of homeowner, whose house they are at the front of? Aren't they owned by the city/town?

Nah here in HOA communities most sidewalks are responsibility of the homeowners and some communities they are not. So it will depend on the neighborhood. A lot of homeowners will get them cleaned also because they aren't waiting for 5 years for the HOA to clean the sidewalks lol

Hey Omar, I would suggest a 16" surface cleaner. Whisper wash makes a great surface cleaner that runs like a Cadillac!

I have the 36” as well and I’m not gonna lie. I’m pretty disappointed with it. It does not clean as well as my 20”. It does however clean blacktop well. So I went ahead and bought a 28” big guy for my larger driveways and sidewalks and i love it.

That was my first time using it. The 20 does clean well I'm gonna have to do a side by side test.

@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash yeah I did a side by side test and that’s how I noticed it didn’t clean very well. I also put the 4 tip bar on as well and no difference. I think the tips just sit too far away from the surface. I’m running two machines to the surface cleaner as well, 8gpm and 5.5gpm Siamesed together.

@@AutoDudes you know you can lower the swivel. Just lossen the collar/clamp with an Allen key and slide the swivel downward. Then tighten up the clamp.

Yes I do. It's good practice. If it's a corner lot I just factor in the price for the extra sidewalks and road gutters.

Appreciate the content as usual! I have just purchased this due to your video. I am running a Honda IGX800 10 GPM with 3000 PSI. I was wondering what size nozzles you are using, I was recommended the 4.5 orifice with 25 degree any thoughts?

That's a beast machine. Much better than mine i have an 8 gpm 3500 psi therefore I run 4.0 tips. 4gpm×2 tips =8gpm

What psi and gpm are you running this beast at? I have a 20" whirl away and if Im running anything less than 4600 psi @ 4.5gpm it slows down progress. Even tho the diameter is smaller I think the added pressure and gpm makes it work faster than the larger cleaner.

8gpm 3500psi. I love running th2 20 inch surface cleaner with it cause I can move faster. The 36 inch covers more area but I gotta move a little slower

Those quick little jobs pay for supplies and keep gas in the truck, no way you pass that by. Some people wont even bother with the little jobs. You know the neighbors are going to want an appointment too now.

Clorox bleach is usually 5-6.5% you'd have to apply it straight pretty much.

Yes I have. You mean post treatment (after cleaning) ... yes sometimes I do that it just depends on how dirty the concrete is really.

I use that same Delevan pump. 7gpm? Do you ride around with SH during the day and rinse only after last job? If so, I’m curious to see how long does it last before it goes out on you?

I flush it at the end of the day. If it will be hours in between jobs then I'll rinse it. Yesterday I had 3 jobs where I needed to use it so I just rinsed it at the end of the day. I've had it for about 2 months so far. Before I had a remco 12v and it lasted me 1 year. (Doing the same rinse method. ) I always rinse it for 5 mins non stop.

So you're running a 8 gpm with that big boy surface cleaner right Cliff? Now that you've used it a few times is there anything that you would change? Always hear people recommend gpm × 4 for surface cleaner size.

Yes I am. Ehh it's good for big driveways and commercial jobs. I use the 20 inch more cause it's easier to move around and get into the corners. I'm probably gonna get a 24" whisper wash ground force soon.

@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash I guess what I'm trying to figure out is do you think that a 8 gpm machine is enough to make that 36 inch perform at its peak or do you think that a machine with higher gpm is required to max it out or that wouldn't make a huge difference IYO. I'm saving up for a 8 gpm and a bigger surface cleaner.

@@MrSmith-rk3wn no its gonna run at its peak but it's not a deal breaker. It's only 4 inches more than it supposed to be. After all it's 8gpm that's a lot of water. The compensation comes I'm how fast you can move not that the pressure washer isn't able to run the surface cleaner.

Are you still using RustAid on the rust? I tried it the other day and it didn't work for me. Any tips? Yes, I did use it at full strength with a pump sprayer.

Yes that what I used. Beware this will take off only irrigation rust, well water rust, fertilizer rust. I don't think it works well for battery acid, or deep rust from metals.

@@Absoluteresurface it definitely has it's uses. As u see on thr videos it works well for irrigation rust, well rust, and fertilizer rust. I don't think it's strong enough for deep rust stains like metal rust though. Seems like whatever rust u had required a lot since you had to use multiple chemicals.

No reclaiming for these types of residential Jobs. More complex jobs like gas stations definitely would.

@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash yea bro don't know if it familiar with southeast softwash there closer to me here in Alabama I know ur in Tampa I was talking to them today I'm stuck between 5.5 pressure washer and 8 gpm I want a 24 inch surface cleaner but that damn 36 is a beast and yes my 24 volt is the truth washing houses in noooo time bro loving it

@@carlostreadwell4565 yea I know southeast softwash. They buy that 24v from Northstar aka northern tool. Nah go with a 24 or 28 at most. Unless u get the 35 on a deal like I did for $600

Why is that? I got brand new 2504 tips on there to match the 8gpm pressure washer. Which tips would you run?

@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash I could be wrong but if it’s a 2 tip bar you need 2505 tips according to the charts to bring you down to 2500 psi. It just looked like you left more lines than usual which is why I said something. Not anything a post treat can’t fix but still if it’s fixable I would try different tips

@@jetskirehab750 with going over the 4 inches per gpm I'm already losing a bit (max supposed to be 32" theoretically). To go up on orifices wouldn't that lower me more? I did notice the lines I think since it was my 1st time using it I walked a lil too fast lol I got a lil excited 😊. When I slowed down just a smidgen it cleaned much better. @@PinkFlamingoPowerWash going up in orifices would lower your pressure, but raise the GPMs coming out to let your full 8gpm out! The 36” is definitely over but you should be able to run it pretty well regardless. One thing to make sure of is that you’re using the IMEG tips (not to be confused with MEG, there’s a difference). It’s the only ones whisper was recommends and can only be found at kleen rite for some reason.

@@jetskirehab750 true true. The Meg ones has the split down the middle almost looks like a notch. Mine is the smooth finish tip (with the line to go along with the bar) I'll give it a try thanks again.

Lol moonwalking hahahahahh hell yea. I'm gonna do a video of a side by side comparing with the 20 inch. Yea that apple wash is that red surfactant. I'm gonna stock up on slo mo this week. That 5 gallon bucket of slo mo lasts me dang near a year
