I love the idea of this challenge! A little tip from a graphic design student to help make it easier next time (if you do this again): black and white are free extras to add to your palette!! When working with a colour palette, you typically have two main colours, a few accent colours, and then a neutral (e.g. white). Raven, I’m not sure if you know this, but if you go in the cafe and restaurant, there’s a couple extra villagers in there whose houses you can make for them! Should be 2 for each of the locations, in case you don’t like any of the options on the beach ^.^

The balcony with the fireworks wall was so clever and creative omg I would never have thought to do a cute little apartment balcony inside!! I love how the palettes forced you out of your comfort zone and made you make some cool ideas you wouldn't have done, like the balcony and the cute grandma witch room. I bought a color palette book at a used book store some years ago. I love to use it when i am coloring in my intricate adult coloring books. It gives me a direction so i am not always gravitating towards standard roygbiv.
