Hi, Jessica! Joining the hexagons is really easy, because the sides of the hexagons are so smooth when they come off the loom. I've done all my projects - over 100 by now - with simple whip stitch. You can see how it works in "How to Join Hexagons - with Fabric Direction - Making a Puzzle Block" and "How to Join When Fabric Direction Doesn't Matter - Making a Flower Dish Cloth". I suggest that you follow either one of those videos, and in the end you'll be a "pro" and have finished project!
