one programmer created an AI to play the original tomb raider, and process in post stimuli from the recording, so that it can larp as if lara croft was playing the game herself. i think you might get some inspiration from something like this

Whoa, that sounds like a really cool idea! I'm definitely not good enough to make something that good, but it would be incredible if we could have AI remaster games for us. :)
