I have a Battle of Wits deck with Claire d’Loon as the Commander. She makes all tokens be treated as cards. Make lots of tokens, shuffle them into the deck, win! The funniest game ended up with some quarter of a million (virtual) cards in the deck after duplication of a Toxrill…

I love Booster Tutor and Summon the Pack. They’re rarely terribly powerful, but always fun to pull off. I keep Ikoria boosters on hand for the latter ;)

That is awesome. I've always been curious, if you're shuffling tons of tokens into your deck, how do you handle shuffling? Do you have hundreds of sleeved treasure tokens?

True. Frankly there’s enough unbanned cards that make playing miserable.

There what is a guy that I played with who didn't like it when people argued against the ban list, so he started playing with a "banning is good" deck where he would put jeweled bird and contract below into his deck. At the start of the game he would remove them as per stated ante rules, thus leaving 97 cards in the 99. Some bans are good.

You know I have to say the My Little Pony cards really walked the line between being playable and not working within traditional magic rules. I agree you could do some really interesting things with Fluttershy. Let me know if you put together a list.

That's awesome. I would absolutely allow that. It makes me want to make a "hidden objects" deck with cheaty face and friends. I hadn't thought of Entirely Normal Armchair like that. It's essentially an Immolating Glare with split second.

Oh man that flavor is great. Do you play with actual gold dragons or do you color them something else for gameplay?

@@TheFirstJake we usually treat it as a white 4/4 dragon creature token, but the ruling for the color of the token did not matter that much , only for protection and some anthem effects

To your first point, I generally agree. I do think you can set up some instant wins with 'Buried Alive' though. Just look at some 'Necrotic Ooze' combos. I'd definitely be game though. Also the "Equipped creatures have Menace" is extremely strong and could be its own build. Second, 'Recurring Nightmare' is one of my favorite cards and is an absolute all-star in my pre-modern "The Rock" deck. The difficulty to the interaction is that you activate it as a sorcery so you have priority. Then once it's activated, it returns itself to your hand as part of the activation so there is no enchantment still in play for your opponent to interact at instant speed. This is different from 'Sensei's Divining Top' in that the top returning to the top of your library is part of the effect, not the activation. This can be useful in other ways, but does potentially allow your opponent to interact with it before it goes away. Even with all of that I firmly believe 'Recurring Nightmare' can come off the banlist ESPECIALLY with 'Cthonian Nightmare' coming out in the next set. Frankly half the banlist doesn't need to be there, but that's a whole different topic.
