It’s wig glue, you can get Wig glue and wig glue remover on Amazon.

Hi have a shichi (chihuahua shih tzu mix - from an oops litter) and her ears went from adorable puppy floppy to the weird cartoonish batwings in the last week. I am thinking about doing a similar technique but I don’t know if her ears would stand all the way up and am not sure how to train them otherwise - I just don’t want them crinkly and sticking out to the sides

What age is too old to get their ears to stand? If my breeder didn’t tape them, when I get her at 12 weeks is that too late?

You are late in the game though, so get those ears taped as soon as possible.

I'm probably too late to do this. My Biewer has one ear that stands up and the other flops over. She is 2 years old now. Didn't know about taping them until recently.

Tried it. The strips adhesive is not strong enough and comes right off.

That’s why I use the hair glue … if you watched the video you would see that I put the hair glue to hold the strips in place

@@karenclement7411 I think she meant the inside of the ear. I cleaned my pup's ears with a dog ear cleaning solution. It didn't work either so I still used the strips but then doubled up with some tape.
