I also commented on a video about buying a Ramispina. You were **absolutely** right about getting an even larger collection of nepenthes. I ended up getting 6 😭 I'm addicted to this hobby and I'm going all out to getting the right temperatures and lighting for them! I absolutely fell in love with dark "goth" pitchers. I have a couple of Naga hybrids and a pure Naga (I'm also interested in your thoughts about the Bongso vs. Naga controversy). I can't wait to grow with you and the community!

Yeah nepenthes aren’t great deterrents for them. Drosera are a much better hunter for them those pests.

Hey!! There is a big grower called California carnivores. It is the largest grower to my knowledge. I’m not sure how close they are to you but if you ordered online I don’t imagine it would take very long to get to you. They also have a big collection of sundews!

They can get talk for sure! I think 2 feet or more. I just got a dichotoma giant! I am so excited but it get enormous so I am going to have to make a long term plan lol!

Hey! A few questions: Are you feeding it with maxsea on the leaves. Not necessary but if you are it may not need to pitcher because it is getting nutrients. Also how long have you had it? Have you moved it recently? Sorry for the questions but it will help me gauge the situation to best help!

No worries I got it a couple months ago and it’s been putting out new leaves like crazy but not pitchering. Watched your video and figured it was a lighting situation so I put it under another grow light and it still isn’t pitchering. Also I don’t feed it with the maxsea

Ah, sometimes the plants will do that where they focus on growing leaves instead of pitchers for a while. Miranda is a very strong hybrid but it does sulk a little when moved so it may take a little longer. However, it could be that the place you got it from was feeding it so it may not need to pitcher. I had a plant that focused on leaf growth only for like 5 months before it started pitchering. The humidity is plenty for Miranda and it is very flexible with lighting. If it is growing new leaves it is liking your conditions for sure; might just take a little longer to produce pitchers. You can spray the developing tendrils with water every couple days and that will help encourage it.
