If this was real, I think the entities will gain the ability to communicate with you as they have to deal with more hellish versions of themselves

That would be interesting for a twist, especially because the lore currently is pointing to "Guiding Light" being an angel. Anyways, theres a lot of Biblical or religious references all throughout the game. As we are most likely cryptozoologists, proving the existence of these entities or crypts. Guiding Light trapped us here as to not let the secrets of the place out. Yet it still helps us like a double edged sword. So this is entirely possible!

I like how it makes sense with GH'S lore, other entities die when you use crucifix on them, but guiding light was already a dead person in the gh's lore so it just gets stronger

Fun Fact: Crucifix is guiding light's power

This should be a thing to where if you hold a crucifix for more than 5 doors, this happens and if you all hit "Replay", the hotel will always look like halt's hallway (Not the shape, but the tint and everything), lights off, and will basically be as 100 door long greenhouse section.

Imagine if like an alternative story of what it should be where Guiding Light is no such as a good guide and now makes clone of every entity that is more harder than the normal. Then the entities communicate and switch sides with you to have a battle between a player and Guiding Light

Wow, I actually love this, I love how the guiding light turns red, amazing job! This is like 100% better than any of the other scripted guiding light messages, And, I love how you just sit there, after the guiding light message ends, like "what have I done.."

After this, you get teleported to the Rooms and the Curious Light asks you what happened.

To be honest, this is the best fan-animation I've seen about doors.

In my thoughts The guiding light would be also carried in the crucifix, so if you'd think.. Guiding light was the one who was in the candle when something was near.. might be [im not sure so dont make a dang war] that guiding light was the one trying to get us to get away from Halt, since the guiding light can pull demonic things such as entities, well.. not seek and figure, but anything else like that. Guiding light might be the one who died first in this hotel. Guiding light didnt want anyone to have this brutal death, so they would continue on helping. Might also be that they were the first one to step into this hotel, meaning they did not know what ist full of, And sure guiding light does have ALOT of power. Yes and i know they made us come here, might also have been to protect you.. but it went wrong and its very dangerous, more dangerous than this situation.. I doubt that would ever canonically work, the Crucifix only seals spirits/souls and Guiding lights was constructed by the same Guardian who sealed the entities, Guiding Lights and all the other occupants would be entirely immune and it makes sense, Halt an older occupant wasn't affected by it at all, all it did was just make not go after you + Eyes and Seek are both cousins hence why Seek is immune to Eyes so it should be the same metaphor for Guiding lights and Crucifix. Nice take on making this honestly, you did a far better job in making Guiding lights revealing it's "evil" due to us way than just plainly making it evil like certain Garbage Piggy games.

I have a feeling that guiding light is in the crucifix which is why when you get to "the rooms" it feels lighter. Same goes with the candle

Oooh i hope theres a gamemofe "Hard Mode" - No Guiding light (Means it wont guide you throughout the gameplay, like Seek Doors, and Dark Rooms) - No pre-run show - Jeff's Shop turns into a Demise - Figure can hear you even far away (But crouch doesnt affect so still use the same mechanics) - No flickering lights, and candle doesnt work anymore - The switches in Door 100 will swap unless you already collected them... - Phase 1 and 2 are now same as phase 3 (Puzzle in electrical elevator) - Lost Light will be here right?

ngl guiding light pretending to help u but leading u down a path to benefit itself is a pretty neat idea edit: the fact guiding light is the only one that breaks the 4th wall and seems to know everything just feels like it put the player in this scenario from the beginning. if it really wanted to help it would've told u everything before starting, however it presses u to continue over and over again, trapping u and making u suffer with the monsters the idea of it being the mastermind of the hotel and knowingly luring players into a hotel filled with monsters fits so well as an antagonist

Love the concept but personally i like guiding light better as a good figure, they seem like a sad and lonely figure who wants to help us and offers us tips and send us in the right direction.

I like to imagine guiding light as an angel but a good one, yes it may not be able to physically help you, but it tried in any way shape or form. Even if you die!

I would think to use the crucifix on guiding light you would need to hold out your crucifix for to long cause the entities(not all) are damaged by the crucifix and guiding light is a entity but a entity that helps us,entity’s like glitch are to fast to get damaged my the crucifix even tho rush and ambush are fast you have enough time to pull out your crucifix and use it on ambush or rush but on guiding light,guiding light helps you about every 5 doors so if u hold your crucifix in those 5 doors guiding light might get damaged and you will die and you know how when you beat rooms you could continue doors or leave,probably you could continue which means your gonna play hard mode or leave(just saying there might be a achievement like using the crucifix on guiding light and continuing to hard mode and so on)

OK but if this was real it would be so good for the lore here is what I am thinking after doing that he says he gains the power to control the hotel but maybe he loses control of the other entities leading them to attempt to communicate with you to help you get out like for example figure using books to talk and rush leaving writing on the walls when he passes by and your in the closet so each entity has there own way :D

The idea of Guiding Light putting us in the Hotel in the first place and helping us just for its' own sake & benefit (My own ideas from here, perhaps to reach Door 100 themselves in order escape to another world, "Rooms" maybe, to be reunited with Curious Light, who could've been their sibling) while being the antagonist all along. Guiding Light just using us as an experiment and maybe even controlling the Doors entities who could've been originally good to kill you + now Guiding Light is powerful...so they've created more powerful entities...both you and the original entities feel betrayed, so you all team up, the entities will take control of what used to be guide and help you the best they can. At Door 200, perhaps, you will face Guiding Light and see their embodiment for the first time ever, since you and all the original entities teamed up, they trust you enough to give you some of the powers you have. You defeat Guiding Light and escape, the entities are now free and talk with each other + you sometimes, as you've become their friend. Ultimately everyone is happy. Man, I had fun writing this.
