I think if you also make the object you are dragging things to "draggable", the things being dragged to it go behind it.

This was very helpful! Thanks :) How do you make a draggable item available to be used multiple times as an answer (on the same card)? I tried to make it have more than one drop zone, but in the preview, it can only be dragged to one spot OR the other, instead of being reused as the answer for BOTH spots...

Make multiple draggable objects. Stack them on top of each other or spread them out on the page. BUT, wire them ALL to the DZ... and mark the DZ to indicate how many of the objects are required for correctness. (using the paper clip tool)

TL;DR How can student on a tablet drag items through remote control? Within a zoom call, the student joins via an iPad or Chrome book. We allow students remote control but they cannot control the cards. We learned that if we assign them as co-host they can click / type. But, they still cannot drag items. Most students we work with don't have laptops or even a computer mouse. Multiple colleagues of mine are trying to troubleshoot this. The only slight improvement has been learning to assign the student as co-host. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Hi, thank you so much for this video. I keep trying to select all the images or select a few images to align them and it won't let me. It just let me mark one at a time. I'm using a MacBook air. I tried using an external mouse but it won't work either. Also tried marking one and do Shift + arrow and didn't work.

this video is really helpful! I had a quick question. I am currently making a card in which there is a shopping cart as a drop zone and various pictures of pasta on the side of it as drag-able items. The student is suppose to drag only three items to the cart from a lot of 5. How can I make it that the drop zone has to have 3 items in it to be correct? I just want to make sure that if he puts one item it lets him know its wrong or if he puts more than three that it is also wrong. And I also want to make sure that he is able to drag any box of pasta and not just a set 3 from the five boxes of pasta given.

Make all of the pasta options draggable and link them to the cart that is set as a drop zone. Then, click on the drop zone/cart and look at the menu on the right side of your screen. You'll see a paperclip symbol under the Drag/Drop Options. Click on the paperclip to change it from "At least" to "Exactly" and keep clicking until it reads "Exactly 3" (or whatever number you would like). This will allow any of the pasta's to be dragged in and accepted as answers, but it will tell the drop zone that there must be exactly 3 pastas to mark the card as correct.

Thanks for the video! Is there any way to make a picture AND text draggable? Or group a picture and text together, so they can both be dragged? For example, I want a picture of a flower and then I want the flower to have the number 3 on it and I want both of them to be dragged together. Is there a way to group images/texts together?

Hi, can anybody here help me with a drag and drop feature I cannot figure out on my own? I would like to drag and drop an object to make it seem like an image is "eating it". I would like it "disappear" (move to back) after being dragged. Does anybody know how to do this? I'd appreciate the help!

Can this be used as a test rather than a learning activity? For example, if I want students to drag and drop to submit, but only tell ME if they are correct or incorrect?

Hello! Thanks for the video. Could you please help me. I am trying to make it so my students have to drag and drop a certain number of objects, but if they are dragging less than that amount, it’s still being marked correct. In the video you mentioned going over that later, but I didn’t see how. Thank you so much for your help!

Thanks so much for this. Is there a way to have the drop zones reject the dropped item before the student selects submit? I have seen some examples on line that seem to do this but didn't see a setting for this. I'm looking to set up some errorless learning slides at the start of my deck. I see that the boxes reject the answer after the student has pressed submit, but I'd love to get the box to reject all but the correct answer at the moment of the dragging for these teaching slides. Is that an available feature?

No... we are considering the possibility of this... but there are quite a few issues we need to resolve before go ahead. Don't expect this in the short term.

@@narcolepticmelody No one has done this. If you make a draggable item TOO BIG to fit into a drop zone... it will snap back and get rejected as soon as being dropped. I guess you could do a trick like that.

Hi, Thank you for this helpful video. When I click on the draggable icon from the draggable box to the drop zone, nothing happens. The line from the draggable box to drop zone is not displayed. Nothing really happens. I've tried and tried. Any suggestions?

Is there any way to make it so when the image is dragged to the drop zone it will automatically center it rather than be halfway in the drop zone?

Yes... turn on "snap to center". HOWEVER, that option does NOT work if the DZ or the draggable is inside of a container. Hope to improve that some day.

Is there a way to have multiple things to be dragged in e.g. I was trying to have base 10 making numbers to 100 so each card say had 27 on it so they need to drag 2tens and 7 ones. Is there a way to set this up so that ALL the answers need to be there? I had stacked the tens and ones on top of each other. Thank you

Yes and no. You can use the paper clip to require the correct number of draggables, but since in YOUR case you have DIFFERENT kinds of draggables... and you need an exact number of 2 different kinds of draggables... you really need to set up 2 different dropzones. One for each TYPE of draggable. Then you can require exactly 2 of one type and exactly 7 of the other type.

Yes. If you are in the "beta" program, you can add sounds to your cards. Beta is available to "ultimate" subscribers for now. Published decks with sound can be played by all.

When I set up my drop zone for one item and hit preview, then drop my item into that drop zone, it gives a green circle as if to say it's correct but it also gives the "whoops" sound and says "incorrect answer." How do I fix that?

What if I had 10 penguins, and said put 3 in the box. How do you make it so it can be marked correct vs incorrect?

wire all 10 to the box. Then select the box (the dropzone) and use the paper clip tool in the item toolbar and set to "exactly 3".

If I want a drop zone to accept multiple images/1 image can go to multiple drop zones do I just wire them to each drop zone? I attempted this but when preview the images just bounce back.

Yes... wire them to >1 DZ, BUT... make sure you adjust the DZ scoring to allow the fact that not all the objects are going into a DZ. (use the paperclip button on the DZ). If your objects are bouncing back, that probably means the DZ is too small. 55% of an object has to be INSIDE the DZ before the DZ will register the drop as being intended for that DZ.

When I hit submit to check my answer, the correct answer is circled in the drag and drop box with a green circle but it is giving the oops sound. What am I doing wrong? It appears to be wired up correctly.

Look for a green halo around your draggable. That is the most common mistake. A drag drop item must NOT also be marked as a "correct answer" in the item toolbar. It must be a draggable OR an answer... not both.

No. User must submit so we know that they are "done" thinking about it.

Hi! Is it possible to have drop zones with no draggable items wired to them? I'm trying to make a sorting-like game wherein you have to place specific items in specific drop zones but with the challenge of being able to put it in wrong drop zones. The problem is that the deck doesn't proceed after pressing Submit and BLUE CIRCLES highlight the other drop zone. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I did your advice, though it worked differently - now it satisfies the MAIN command/instruction provided BUT it also allows excess actions (e.g. Put 5 cherries on the yellow plate - now allows putting other fruits in the other plates as well with "accepts anything" checked). Although I'm guessing it's probably a feature limitation? Thanks!

When you create your own deck, you can use Flow Magic to control the order of questions. This will also remove the "Skip" option for students.

Hello! When I try to drag an image from the botton left side of the card to the drop zone at the right side corner of my card and drop it in the wrong place (not in the drop zone), my image goes in the middle of the card instead of going back to the ''starting point'' at the bottom left side of the card. What can I do to fix that and make sure the image goes back to starting spot?

You can drag text. Mark it as a draggable... then drag the icon to the flag.

On this scenario at 7:50, when the student gets the wrong amount of penguins , specifically more penguins than needed, how do you get the penguins to snap back out of the drop zone to start over? I would like the student to figure it out the problem on his own. Because the way you show it, if the correct answer is 2 and I put 3 in, only one snaps back out of the drop zone (the student would not even have to try again, simply clicking the submit button again makes it right).

You can select >1 item by holding the SHIFT key while tapping on items. Or you can use the CMD-A to select ALL items (in the current "scope"). So, all items inside of a selected container. Or all items in a card.

I'm wondering if they are just the "wrong answer" that is why the fish bounce back, or as you say "disappear". Maybe try that, I'm new to these also!

I think if you also make the object you are dragging the food to "draggable," the food looks like it is being fed/going behind. In this deck, if you notice, you can also drag the penguin around--you can then see all of the fish you fed to the penguin. I guess most kids don't realize that and are concentrating on dragging the fish to the penguin's mouth.
