i just love it when people wear gloves and still touching their face, their clothes, their stuffs with the glove hands, doesnt that also transfer the virus to whatever you are touching?

It does, however a couple of points to note: 1. The technique shown in this video is complete rubbish. here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mdJnqJacr669eI0.html is how it should be done. 2. Gloves are a second point of protection *along* with good hand sanitation routines, they are not a replacement. 3. In real world situations I.e like above you'd want a fresh pair for every interaction. I.e when picking up your food items say, the gloves you wore when getting your shopping cart will now have to be changed for a fresh pair before picking up your food items to avoid cross contamination. Those will now have to be changed again when handing over cash to the cashier, those will now have to changed again when loading up your goods into your car, and finally those will have to changed again to avoid cross contamination when getting into your car. now your home ready to unload all your goods right? Guess what those gloves you wore in the car are now contaminated, change them again and then you can unload all your shopping into your house.

kevo598 Those are for sterile gloves. They protect patients more, but are not necessesary or often available in most circumstances.

@@eamartig They are readily available, there's plenty of medical surplus online retailers selling them (at least there was before this epidemic started, and at a cheap retail as well) hence the reason I posted this specific link. Otherwise, anything less would be ill-advisable. Gloves *can* be a second point of protection but, if your using non sterile gloves to start with you are defeating the point of wearing them in the first place. The overall point being alluded to here however is that unless you have the resources for this kind of protection, then simply following basic hand hygiene protocols will suffice plenty over wearing gloves. But again, they do indeed have their place if, and only if used correctly.

I think it is wrong for you to say to feel the outside of the glove before putting it on, without saying that you should wash your hands before doing that.

I think an important point about gloves is they can help immensely if you don't have hand sanitizer, or alcohol or access to an antibacterial soap. And while things like bleach can be effective, they require a certain amount of immersion time to effectively kill covid-19. Do it wrong and you can still get infected. If you're out driving around to the supermarket, making a stop to pick up some take-out, going to the ATM, etc. there's a lot of opportunity for you to accidentally touch your hands to your face. I don't know about the rest of the people reading, but hand sanitizer is virtually impossible to get in the supermarket anymore. Alcohol, same thing. I can't even find bleach, and antibacterial soap, ha! There's not many options to sanitize your hands, which is just exacerbating the situation with this pandemic. People need to stop hoarding supplies, and we need to increase production of hand sanitizer's and alcohol. In the meantime you can still buy disposable gloves. Of course if you remove them incorrectly, they are worthless, so this is a good instructional video for that. So, in lieu of hand sanitizer or alcohol or some other method of sterilizing your hands, I say use the gloves and dispose of often. At about $.10 a pair there a pretty good value, and could save your life. One other thing I'd like to add: Covid-19 will die at 133°. If you put your head over a pot of boiling water after being out and about, and inhale deeply, you could (key word being could) destroy the Covid 19 virus in your nose or greatly reduce your chance of being infected. One more way to keep you healthy. And if you're going to wear a mask for God sakes make sure it's a good N95 mask, and not some cheap paper thing with gaps along the side (those are worthless). The type I wear has not only a membrane, but charcoal filter, and it attaches around the back of the neck and ears. It's a very tight fit around the nose and cheeks. These are the only type of masks that are effective. Otherwise you're pissing in the wind. And I really agree with a lot of the professionals. The more people who wear these, the less are available to the people who really need them in health care. I happen to have a good mask I use for woodworking, so I use it when I go out, but otherwise keep your distance (6 feet). Be safe out there!

Great video! @ProTrainingsUK I would love to show it to my friends and coworkers, but they don't know English that well - is there a possibility of adding some subtitles by the community? The option is not on in this video, I would add some by myself if you'd let me! :)

For the outdoors: Custom made gloves can prevent you touching your face and they can be sanitized. They prevent viral off load on surfaces and infected surfaces on you. @t. Nothing wrong with handwashing and keeping social distancing against virusses. Very good measures. But outdoors you touch your face also a lot of times. Keep that in mind.

I think they should work with the drugs that they are treating in Colombia, Brazil and the United States, with hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin, at least I heard that and they say that in Colombia it has worked very well, the 7 patients who have been treated with this all 7 have cured, of course it works if patients are not allergic to these drugs.

Wonder if copper is a killer of it outside the body much like it is with bacteria.. Yeah, I used to carry a copper pipe to rub hands on.. Somehow it kills all the bacteria on contact.. What a shame our drinking water now goes through pex or pvc or glavanized steel.. I'm thinking of redoing my home with copper plumbing again... The benefits might outweigh the costs..
