Finally someone who gets it! This was incredible! Lisa you need to have her on the podcast again to dive in deeper. I’m a nurse and people are always shocked that I don’t use a thermometer! How is it that humanity has come “this far” and lost track of how the body works! There’s such a need for this information, thank you for sharing!!!

This was so informative and inspiring. At the age of 23 I’m starting to have a different outlook on modern medicine. I’ve seen so many people in my life that are completely dependent on 20 different medicines. Every new medicine that is prescribed cause a new ailment or issue that causes yet another prescription. It’s scary. So I’m glad there are resources like this out there! Would anyone happen to have a good book resource for herbal medicine?

I have a small herbal apothecary at home of just over 70 herbs and roots. I make capsules intuitively every morning and love the way they make me feel.

Nice talk thank you, I would caution anyone to do their own research about fevers though. High fevers in childhood have been linked to schizophrenia

So what I'm catching from this is that making a variety herb teas might be much safer for daily use? A little variety daily/essentials and tincture for specific treatments that need a more powerful effect?

This is definitely a sharable! Thank you so much for a calm and balanced view of the subject. I've found plantain also works exceptionally well on burns. Bruised cabbage leaf poultice for swellings (like in clogged ducts, mastitis and/or swollen joints)... And in the event of a troublesome fever, raw egg whited (slightly beaten) applied to the feet and covered with sock & plastic wrap allows the body move through the process more effeciently. Not recommending any of these. Not a doctor. No medical advice to be found here. 😁🙄👍
