Megan, It is what it is. No rest for the weary, so to speak. Tip: It is not the end of the world if you do not get to fit in everything in your lesson plans for the school year especially for the end of it. Just as time is running out on you to teach your students, time is also running out on your students to stay in touch with their friends before those 2 months of living everyday with the clique at home. When all of the academic pressure ends for the school year if your students come out loving you then you are a successful teacher. Students learn more from people and things that they love.
