​@@EgJewels Hi Eg, I was watching your video on the 18" slab saw. I potentially have a very similar design to yours but mine is slightly different. My carriage design is similar to yours but the two pipe rails are under the bottom portion of my carriage and makeshift ball bearing wheel feet are under that clamp to the bottom and top of the rail through a lever mechanism on one side while the other just has wheels on the top of the rail. It can roll up and down very easily when the nut on the power feed is not engaged. However the clamp ball bearings constantly loosen and introduces slop to the carriage. I see your 2 rail pipes go through the bottom portion of the carriage whereas in mine that entire portion sits above the rails. Does the carriage role on the pipes using some sort of wheel or does it simply slide in the pipe holes? I bought mine used and it is very old so I don't know what is original but my carriage looks very similar as does the saw leading me to believe they are from the same maker mine maybe was just an early poorer designed model. Do your rail bars remove so you can fit the carriage holes around the pipes or is the carriage permanently installed and unable to be removed without the pipes being unwelded. Would you mind sharing a few photos or a short video on the carriage design? I would also be interested in seeing more of your power feed motor design with the spring. That must be how mine originally was but mine did not have that when I bought it so I clamped a 4rpm gear motor to the base and ran the belt there but it often loosens or oil drips down from the hole the threaded rod extends through causing it to slip excessively.
