Great video. Used to use NIK with Aperture, then LR and now starting with C1 Pro 20. Nice to see how to incorporate NIK with it. Thanks!

Really nice work, Marcus. It was helpful to see your workflow when using C1 Pro 20 and Silver Efex together. I notice that you use a lot of different post-processing apps. I'd like to see more videos of how you use then together with C1 Pro 20.

Silver Effects is really good but has one major drawback. It works destructive unless it is used as a smart object in Photoshop. For me, this drawback is the reason I do not spend any more money in this product. I start using the Fujifilm film simulations in Capture One. They are amazing. Lot’s of greetings, Dennis 🇳🇱

The drawback with Nik Collection it does not offer the Brush to located by the Cancel and Save tool. It's very useful. Nik, according to tech support does not support Capture One.

Capture One may not official support NIK Collections, but it works with not only NIK Collections but other standalone graphic photo editing applications. Capture One only has a handful of plugins specifically written for the application and on those, the developer or vendor provides the support, not Capture One. But with that said, NIK Collections work beautifully with Capture One.

Thanks Marcus for your comments. I got the indication of lack of support from DxO/Nik. It does work but the Brush tool at the bottom in the plug in is not present.

Yes, but that's because it's not working as a plugin with Capture One Pro. Capture One Pro is basically exporting the the new variant photo into Nik Collections in standalone mode. All of the Nik Collections Applications work as a plugin with (Photoshop and Affinity Photo ) and as a standalone application. Capture One has only 4 plugin software applications that works with the app as an actual plugin app.

Hi Marcus, I love Silver efex, but, how can i add to the "Edit with" option in C1? Untill now ill send to PS, to work with it... But i think that is much better to open inside C1... Thanks!
