Thanks for the video, as I learned a number of new things from it. BTW, you can drop a file directly on a tab, without opening the tab. It’s a matter of timing it properly. Too short and the file won’t be copied. Too long and Finder switches to the tab. The file is copied to the open folder on that tab. This is very handy if you have files in multiple places that you want to copy to a single folder.

This video is very poingant as I learned over the weekend it is possible to have multiple tabs opened in the shortcut app and then the epiphany hit.

This was well-timed because this morning I noticed in Calendar's View menu there's an option for "Hide Tab Bar" that is actually clickable (there is no associated keyboard shortcut listed). Below that, still in the View dropdown menu, there is a grayed-out, non-clickable option for "Show All Tabs" (keyboard shortcut: shift + command + \). Selecting both "Hide Tab Bar" (and its inverse "Show Tab Bar") only seems to pop up a spot that says "Calendars" below the "Day | Week | Month | Year" buttons for the different views. It's not visibly clear to actually be a tab, and there is neither a "New Tab" option under the File menu, nor does "command + t" appear to do anything. I have tried dragging a calendar from the Calendar List sidebar, but that doesn't seem to work either. Additionally, under the Window menu, there are more commands that are grayed out, such as: Show Previous Tab, Show Next Tab, Move Tab to New Window, and Merge All Windows. Is this some errant grouping of items leftover from a previous version of Calendar where this was possible? I'm a prolific tab-user and would LOVE this feature to actually exist in Calendar. But this appears to be a completely useless and largely inaccessible functionality. Thanks!

New to MacBook and I really enjoy and from all your videos Gary. I haven’t come across it yet but in the photos app, how do you go from one picture to another after you have opened the photos without closing and starting all over?

I do wish that Finder windows with their tabs could be saved, so you can easily reopen that window and its tabs to go back to it all (e.g., to go back to a group of related folders). There was a Finder alternative that could do that, but it would be great if Finder itself could do it. Not a huge deal, but convenient.

Does the tab function work on Microsoft office ? Or adobe acrobat?

I am getting a pop up on my new MacBook that says, "GenUtility" would like access to your Apps with an "Allow" and " Don't Allow" selection. Of course, I selected "Don't Allow". Does anyone know what that is?
