If you've fished anywhere along the California coastline, you probably have encountered this fish. However, out of all the fish that swim these waters, this one seems to attract the most hate. In this vid, I turn the tables and see if it can be used as a viable bait for BIG fish. Thanks for watching!!!!

Adam... if you have a big bait smelt then you need to have that trailer hook a "huge" treble (lings will eat it all regardless of hook size). It reminders me of Alaska fishers wanting to fill their 2 huge freezers before winter. Catch fish,,, to eat ....what ever it takes!! But if you're a semi sport fisher I accept your non-hook ups with small hooks/err. small mouth gaffs. I have looked at many of your follower's questions...and responses??
