Ive overclocked the CPU but i havent even scratched the surface of clocking the GPU. 3080 will be my solution :)

@@GTGREG sure but id also try to over clock that gpu... believe it or not... it does make a difference.

I'm certain it will too, I tried for like a second yesterday and you can see the blending lines but I didn't put much effort in tuning that out.

@@GTGREG From what I've read on forums is that scale resizing removes the vertical bars but you need a higher GPU to push it.

I played battlefield on this thing and the field of view is almost like cheating. That little camper hanging off to your right that you can NEVER tell where the shots are coming from are quite easy to see😂

@@GTGREG I got a alienware graphics amplifier today but i could not get it to work, i rang dell and was on the phone for hours. Hope it gets sorted out tomorrow because i need a bit more performance if i want a set up like yours.

@@GTGREG dell told me they know how to fix it now, just have to wait for tomorrow. If your looking to buy a graphics card you should wait until the RTX 3080 comes out. They say it's 20% faster than a 2080ti. The alienware amp can only be used on there laptops, just letting you know.

I have the older version of this monitor , and the game doesn’t look stretched at all.

ACC has Projection Correction which can remedy the stretching.

Ya, in hindsight, I would just focus on getting good quality recording and great video and sound. That's really important. The gear is non essential unless your channel is gonna be gear oriented.

There is no flicker unless I'm recording in OBS. The encoding is just too much for the PC to run the game and the encoding. I'll be switching to NDI. I just drove them all again at 120fpd without flicker. EXCEPT! rfactor... Need to work on that alot.

To many people returning the product you know that right? The whole batch seems to be faulty and Samsung recalled it in many stores. So check that out :(

My chg90 flickers like mad unless I limit frame rate.

@@GTGREG But thats the issue m8, when OBS works theres aditional load in CPU and GPU so the Active Syns/freesync/G sync kicks in, and the Low frame compensation creates the flicker, in CHG90 Nvidia did not give its seal of approval...but on this one it did so i was expecting to not see any flicker under any circunstance.... as long as the FPS operates inside the Sync window... my monitor also has zero issues if the frame rate is locked to 60,100 120 or 144hz... but the purpose of the Sync is to enter in action when that goes below the expected FPS(in chg90 its between 40 and whatever frequency you choose in the ultimate option)... and thats where it sometimes fails and flickers...

definitely paying close attention. Ill pause on decisions though until I get either a 2080ti in hand or a 3080. We knew before hand that these monitors will require some proper fire power.

@@GTGREG yea same here I was thinking the thing I'm about getting the 3080 since it should be performing a bit better and hopefully at the same price or slightly lower but we'll see.

Thanks man, after taking some time to mess around with it, I love it. The immersion for me after getting used to a single is just as good in my opinion. Triples are better but this is damn good I have some ghosting issues I'm working through now but all in all, I'm very happy with this thing. Thanks for the seating position tips, my wrists are in the right location in normal conditions, I was making space for the camera by backing off a little bit. Even in that position, they are still where they need to be because I have long arms. I personally like to be a little closer as it turns the movement from a twisting motion to a rotation movement. Hey dude, OBS is a screen recording software tool used for streaming and recording. It consumes quite a bit (recording webcam, recording screen and recording audio from the PC and from the microphone). To get gsync to work, you need to enable adaptive sync in your monitor settings, then enable it in Nvidia control center. I'm running 120, 240hz makes everything look weird haven't really experimented much tbh.

This is a gysnc compatible (as opposed to full gsync) but it's just as good. You don't do it on the monitor. It's only for Nvidia card users, go to your Nvidia control panel and find it there

No way, not even close. light years away from VR. There is no substitute for VR. Even the triples couldn't touch it for immersion.

I've ordered a G9, but for me it will simply be a poor replacement for VR, which I also have (Vive Pro). There is absolutely nothing that can beat VR in terms of immersion. But, not all games support VR and for me at least, it's a bit of a hassle to start up VR. So I don't bother with it too much. But when I do, I have a fantastic experience, every time.

Which simulator are you running?

@@julianlandicho2511 ahh I don't have experience with those games, sorry I couldn't help more but if you watch 4k gaming of the titles ur using, I usually reduce what the 4k performance is by 20% to get a good feel of what to be expecting.

I've tuned out all the flickering in fact, I haven't seen a flicker since that day. If yours is not defective, you will certainly enjoy it as it's a beautiful display. Make sure you initially update the firmware everywhere, and run in 240hz mode.

Looks like a solid "No" if even this high priced monitor from Nvidia Gsync approved list keeps having Gsync crash and even when it's on it's still flickering like an incompatible freesync monitor.

Gsync is b.s. It makes you think its smooth but tpu lose response time. LTT did a good video , instead of pointless complaining and rambling. Lol

I dont think the ps5 supports this aspect ration or resolution yet.

I don't think so, double check their maximum resolution. Even most computer games dont support 32:9, I srsly doubt those consoles would. Maybe the 5.
