Thanks. I was free to say whatever I wanted in the video. At this price point there are certain expectations, and these lights far exceeded expectations. Also, using them over multiple gigs and weeks allowed for some time to see if any bugs or issues would creep in. And they didn't. They worked flawlessly each time. They do what they do, and they do it well.

Today's video is looking at some of the Shehds JMS Webb Led Moving Head lighting fixtures. A pair 19x20W Bee Eye type fixtures. A very affordable lighting fixture. I used them in a variety of situations, as shown in the video. I'm curious to hear other's experiences with this brand. I've had a few requests for some lighting/DMX videos for the channel and in the process of making this video I shot a lot of DMX context for some future videos to sprinkle into future channel content releases. Noe w that some time has passed, how are you finding the durability/roadworthiness of your Shehds lights? I've only touched a couple of their smaller lights, and I wasn't all that confident that they would be able to survive "life on the road" for very long.

Still going strong. They do live in a case, but not a case that's actually made for them. Just a small cable case that I repurposed for them with a little foam in the bottom and a packing blanket around them. Edit: I said foam at the bottom... Actually, I think it's just another packing blanket that is folded up at the bottom of the case... now that I think more about it.

How is the fan noise on them? I've gotten some shehds lights before that were great, but the fans were just way too loud to use in my environment.

I've been using them more on live music stages and fan noise has been a non-factor in that environment. I have used them in a corporate speaking engagement too though, and I don't recall the fans being excessive.

I know you mentioned about the eye bolt for the safety and the feet.. is it possible to put a washer in between the feat and the unit as a spacer to prevent the problem and allow the eye to be left attached

That's exactly the thought I have on this too. Or a nylon spacer. But I've not tried it... yet... :)

How do they compare to the r2 washes? Are you able to comment on dimming curve?

I compared them more as a complement to the R2 washes, which is partially why we put them on the deck so they'd both be standalone fixtures in the show with their own roles, as well as see how well they could keep up with the lighting in the trusses. Which they did really well. But we didn't really compare them one to one with the R2 washes and compare how well the dimming curves matched up or anything like that.
