I just love how this guy always does such professional looking products while still staying super easy to follow. I'd love to get that machine! I'm a mechanical engineering student and already have a 3d printer so this addition to my work space could give me a lot of new opportunities. Thanks for posting such amazing content

Jesmonite is a lot cheaper than i imagined for 17 Kg's of the stuff. I think that's about enough for a pretty cheap desktop with really cool patterns

We don't know how strong it is. Even if you were to cast it with a metal support embedded inside, we don't know if the edges will crack and chip off with normal use.

@@danielch6662 I have seen jesmonite used as kitchen counter tops so i would guess that with enough support cracking and chipping wouldn't be an issue. I'm planning on making a desktop in the near future so will find out

Great projects, always loved vacuum forming ever since I tried it in Architecture school. Great for prototyping and that is a great casting material!

Hi Alexandre, got to say i dont think i am in a position to make full use of a Vacuum Forming machine yet, but just seeing you work with one gives me so many ideas on what i would do with one. I love watching your videos and i just want to say that you have a unique ability to motivate and inspire. It looks so cool just to play with the form and colors! I had a blast making soaps with my daughter - I can’t even imagine what we could do with being able to make our own molds with such an ease :) Definitely going to try the Jesmonite.
