I complained the younger Mazvidal would've come guns blazing and dukes up high. Iono. We still didn't get to see Mazvidal at what we know is his best. He cracked under the pressure. The thing is Masvidal didn't RESPECT Usman. He kept laughing in his face the whole time. Usman DID respect Jorge. He said in the post fight interview he hasn't been this nervous for a fight in a long time. And you could see how focus he was the whole fight. Lesson: This is fighting, not Disney channel, don't underestimate anyone.

Did nobody catch Usman grab Masvidal's right wrist prior to the punch and prevent him raising his hand to protect his head. Masvidal rolled left and didn't have the arm he expected to have in the strait lane and got hit by a bus, that was next level dexterity.

@@rustyspigot1876 it's similar to hockey where you'd reach for the lead wrist/jersey to manipulate balance pulling down and open the overhand lane, but that was reaching for the back wrist to pull forward and open the inside strait lane which I don't think I've ever seen either.

tbh I don’t think it was anything special.. cool finishes in co and main event.. but if you look at ufc 260 those finishes were insane as well, but it didn’t feel the same.. I think what made this card special was hearing a sold out crowd for the first time in a year.. it gave this sense of everything is back to normal again.. and let’s fkn go.
