You can't go wrong with "The President's Own" United States Marine Band. I have an ancient copy of the original arrangement for band. In typical 19th century fashion there's hardly anything to it- kind of like a fat piano score with instrument indications written in fine print. This piece made its debut around the same time as Berlioz' Symphonie Fantastique, to give you some idea of context. Like the original score for Symphonie Fantastique, experts have pieced together the original score, which was 10 times better than Berlioz' rewrite. I've always felt that the Overture from Zampa could do with a new killer arrangement that really shows off the details in the music.
