From what I know those games are supported multiplayer but singleplayer command console is excluded or doesn't have important console commands like notarget to create npc battles

These Marine Models were used in CoD 4/MWR too

another funny thing is these are re-used models from COD 4 (same models as the helicopter extraction teams at the end of one shot one kill and Heat)

But they were badass as fuck for those 2 seconds.

I really wish MWII (or, alternatively named by yours truly 'MW2: 2') that the AI could actually help. Played through on Realism and they're about as useful as a toothpick in a tank fight.

I always wondered that too. I think I read somewhere that according to the lore, the West (NATO) backed the Loyalist Russians during the 2nd Russian Civil War (events of Cod 4) by supplying them with weapons and ammunition to help fight against the Ultranationalist Russians. But after the Loyalists lost the war and the Ultranationalists gained power, (shortly before events of MW2), they were left with large stockpiles of NATO weapons and they decided to arm the Russian Army with them.

@Metal_Maniac669 Russia is rich with their own range of small arms in many calibers, Battlefield includes some of these, why couldn't COD introduce the same?

Well at the time, a lot of units were still forward deployed in Africa, the Middle East a d the balkans do when the Russians invaded it caught the us off guard, that’s why we mostly see Army units in campaign but we do hear of other military units being deployed through radio chatter in the campaign

Tbh tho they were only COD4 models. Even in the remaster of MW2 I'm pre sure they are just the COD4R models. It's weird since you'd think they would use the TF141 models

The radio chatter at the very beginning of the Washington DC mission starts with a Force Recon Team - Stalker 2-1 - reporting enemy positions and movement.

Most likely because Marines Recon's AI designed to aid the players during evacuation phase (which at the end of missions). I remember that their gunshots were very accurate at the end of "One shot one kill" mission. I really wished at least 2 of these men makes my missions easier...

I think other comments explained this by them either being ultranationalists who recently gained control of the country Or using NATO weapons taken from the defeated loyalists (Also not mentioning the severe lack of plates or helmets) Idk There's not much use in trying to find accuracy in a cod game

Russia makes 5.56 and 7.62 NATO, it exists on their civilian market. Some Spetsnaz also have used the HK417

They both need to be on the same mission so that fight would only be possible on the museum level.
