The cross-map snipe of sugar was the REAL God Usopp moment, the fact that he stepped up to save his captain AND didn't even care about getting credit for it. Fire character growth and it sucks that Oda keeps writing him out of his element cause he truly shines when he's ACTUALLY SNIPING

If I remember correctly, earlier this arc you were wondering why as a sniper Usopp never got any important shot n the role of a "sniper" is overshadowed by the cooler "fighters" of the crew, well there you go, Usopp made one of the single biggest save in One Piece history but true to his role as a sniper, nobody have any idea what has happened including Luffy

Exactly, while Ussop isn't a powerhouse character in physical fights like Zoro, Sanji, or Luffy, he specializes in long range combat which is equally important and at times determinative to how a fight will end. Just because a character isn't physically strong doesn't make them weak!

Ill never doubt his sniper ability but hes never in that position like ever so he just never had moments and it always makes him seem like the weakest of them all. I mean i know hes gonna get armament like no way he wont be able to . The main question is when is that gonna happen lol. The moment that happens hes like number 3 of the crew. Until sanji also gets armament

Sanji does have armament tho, it's simply not his preferred haki to use. Much like Zoro used armament more so than observation, Rayleigh said that people tend to specialise & focus on one kind of haki

Usopp doesn't know he has Observation Haki so why would he use it in Wano 🤦🏽 He wasn't the focus of Wano so ofc he's not going to get insane cool and crazy moments. And even then he still did so much in Wano he gathered Samurai for the Raid he Recruited tons of Gifters by shooting Tama's kibi dango's in there mouths he Captured Bao Huang and through that ceased means of communication for the beast pirates he Saved and Protected Kinemon and Kiku and delivered an amazing speech he helped Nami defeat ulti and did more. He's a support and a sniper he's not supposed to be insanely strong he doesn't need a big power up to keep up him learning he has Observation Haki and improving it is all he needs.
