I'm 9 years in, my question to you is "Why are you doing clerical work?? and your a CCA", that's crossing craft, your station "shopsteward" should not allow management to have you do that, You can get Grievance filed against you. Normally if your station has no work, CCA is sent to their sister station aka (Detailed), Additionally Management should Not have your phone number. You need to call the Union, your shopsteward is slacking...he's not covering you....and that his why we lose a lot of people. On your Rest Day, you do not have to look at your phone...or answer any calls.

I just passed probation today . I never went i the academy I got skipped. I have been doing parcels and pse work as well. They even had me do some mail at times . My office is always busy we do 6 days 12 hours a day except Amazon Sunday. I want to hit the academy to opt on a route. Another new CCA came and they sent him before me.

I was offered a job as City Carrier Assistant, accepted offer within one day and was waiting for orientation dates. Kept waiting, nothing. Finally got an email saying when a position comes up they will let me know and see if I am still interested? Is this common. I did fingerprinting, background check etc. I have been applying for other jobs. I cant just sit around waiting for them as my job closed and I need to work.
