i love that you talk about this...i know these things , but many of my coworkers dont, and its pointless trying to help some of them because alot of them are hypnotized and try their best to be a "manager's or postmaster's pet"...even though these people don't care about you, if it comes to it, these same people will throw you under the bus real quick... i've witnessed it 1st and 2nd hand in my years here at the post office.. so i'm very selective on who i give advice these days, because when you give the wrong people here advice you put a target on your back from management.

I don’t agree with speed. Keep a steady pace and hustle. I don’t fart around when I’m delivering mail. I do the job and go home safely.

DOIS doesn't know us. Lol. It's wrong 98 percent of the time and almost never says you'll be over 8 hours when you absolutely know you will. I had my supervisor say he'd come out and follow me because I wouldn't give him a half hour of pivot time. I wasn't intimidated and said okay then follow me. He ended up not following me and not talking to me the rest of the morning, I got back and called him out and asked him why he didn't come follow me and he said he got too busy. 😂

I’m a T6 now though they pulled me off my string and I had to do other routes what does this mean basically should I be paid more? I also do feel management always push all the carriers to be back faster and always asking for eta time

Another video idea for you is why management tries to keep offices understaffed. I recruited 4 PTF's for our office and fully staffed our office, doing managements job for them, I found out that management doesn't like that very much, did I care? Nope

My union rep told me that the key word when they push us is safety and they can’t argue with that. Usually that stops them in there tracks when they try to push good carriers just to make up for there bad management skills

I try not to let them get under my skin but they do sometimes. And it be the worse carriers that ever delivered that behind 204bs

Days of Yore, I retired in 2009, 39yr. as a carrier. in order to CYA , you filled out 3 copies of the 3996 1 as a receipt that you gave it to the boss. Mysteriously been know to get lost and your lying to them about turn one in. 2, given back to you w/ their decision. 3 their copy

How about mail handlers. Don’t think I want to work six days a week as a rural carrier.

Good day, A.M.- 2000 ,& 100 pkg.s, oh 👨 man; that's a Big day, we think. Almost became a one day a week( for the most part) assistant rural carrier, pkg.only worker. But after much consideration, turned the job down. For a younger person, in their forties or younget., reckon , & with no previous back injury- it is a good part time way to make some good $ money; for however long someone wants to do it. Perhaps, something else part time will open for me, Knox.county, TN. Have a good one , M.

8 hrs 😂 if they are kind. 6 hrs under time everyday including Monday with many brought back parcels from other days

Bro I’m trying to get 5 days 8 hours shifts. I can only do 2 days and the rest is on call basically. So enjoy those hours!!!!

I deliver in New England. Not only did they make us go out Sunday to deliver packages during a Nor’easter, which at least half came back due to the weather conditions, we then were sent out Monday to deliver our mail, along with all the undelivered packages from Sunday…at least half of our routes were undeliverable due to the YUGE snow volume..Spent hours after driving our routes having to re-case everything that didn’t get delivered. I was off on Tuesday, and don’t know yet how much mail still was undeliverable even then. Much of our area is so rural, the roads are nearly impassable without a foot and a half of snow. I got stuck twice Monday- lost 2 hours waiting to get pulled out and still had to finish the route. I was in the dark, trying to navigate roads that a poorly marked and even worse when covered in ice and snow..safety my arse.

What's a 96?? 😂 8 hours fellas ....always 8 hours ....
