USS Winston Churchill arrives

3 жыл бұрынThe USS Winston Churchill completes the trio of new ships now calling Mayport home. She arrived here from Norfolk, Virginia on Monday, after a 9-month deployment.

A few facts some people might not know she is the only foreign naval vessel to permanently fly the White ensign (the flag flown by all Royal Navy vessels and establishments) to honour the ships name sake and is the only us navy to permanently have a Royal Navy officer assigned to the crew and they typically serve as the navigator
