Ustad Abdul Halim Jaffer Khan was a genius. He had a distinctive style which was called "Jaffer Khani Baaz". Listeners used to get mesmerised by that style Plus his total mastery on Taal. He was unparalleled in his time. Even now students of sitar find it difficult to emulate his style.
