This tournament is the saviour of boxing. Big divisions need to get on board with this conceot too so big money can be made from the sport and big fights are shown to the fans.

It is , brings light to the divisions that don't get much exposure , the super middle weight tourn that Andre ward won was my fav , best fights the best . They should do one on our lightweights Loma,Davis,Lopez,Garcia,haney 🔥save the years of waiting to see who's the man

Best of my lifetime, in my opinion, was always Muhammad Ali. Usyk moves like Ali but I think he's far more disciplined, much fitter, with higher punch output, amazing stamina and a Formula 1 engine, a total warrior who just loves the fight, the harder the better. He's going to take a lot of stopping, in my opinion. Many will disagree but personally I don't think Fury gets close - if it ever happens, which I personally doubt.

​@@papalazzzaruI agree 100% with what u said besides that last part. Fury is the GOAT. He's incredibly fast but one ups Usyk in the sense that he is unpredictable and jerky with his movements. More importantly though, he completely eclipses Usyk in the strength department. Before the first Wilder fight I admired him as a boxer but he didn't have that one hit KO power (same like Usyk), whereas after the last two Wilder fights and the Whyte fight he seemed to have unlocked tremendous power that can KO u in one body punch. On top of that , Fury is a gypsy and doesn't mind leaning on people to the point of it being nasty, he throws backfists, he holds his opponents heads etc.

@@donk9189 Loma’s right shoulder was injured big time, thats Why he didnt throw punches first 6 rounds, he wanted Lopez to gass, and knock him out in the later rounds. Unfortunately Lopez stamina was great and Loma couldnt KO him. Also Loma’s father insisted to postpone the fight, but Loma refused because he tought it was his only chance to become undisputed champ. Now Loma fights Nakatani, lets hope for A rematch after that 🙏

What makes you think they didn't understand that? They spent plenty of time talking about Usyk and Loma being in the same camp, and Papachenko being in Usyk's corner isn't something new...

No joking he may be the most well rounded talent to ever come out of the heavier weight classes. Ali got nothing on this skillset.

@@SlimeGod666 Fury has skills on par with Usyk's minus the blinding speed due to his size so you can't really take much away from him for that. Fury is a bigger Usyk, perhaps a little slicker and unpredictable too but Usyk is a pretty wildly creative fighter as well. They each box differently but their skill level and adaptability is evident in their work, which makes them the best boxers by far at heavyweight.

100%, he doesnt use his body weight in his punching, and doesnt swing widely. Personally i think he doesnt want to expose himself so that Joshua doesnt duck him. Watched the Chisora fight, he didnt swing there either, just proper Boxing. His rematch against joe joyce will be a good one!

Looking at usyk, he probably thought that was his best shot, knowing he could not hope to outbox him

Gassiev actually boxed really well against Dorticos, he has serious problems against southpaws though and that's why I picked Usyk to win at the time, I watched Gassiev's fight with Lebedev live on tv at the time it was on and he struggled badly in that fight so it was obvious to me and probably anyone who seen the Lebedev fight that Usyk would give him nightmares.

I really love seeing two fighters after the fight is over they embrace each other. they were only doing their job.

With that hand speed and movement, plus the general ring IQ he has, he'll cause many fighters problems at heavyweight and will likely win a strap sometime. If not he can go back down to cruiser and seal his legacy as the best cruiserweight to ever lace em up. This man is special.

His trainer chose the right strategy. Hitting the body would require going the distance and you don't want to go the distance with somebody like Gassiev. He outboxed Gassiev and won all the rounds by doing what Gassiev can't do. That's what I call a good trainer.
