Although some schools are not requiring this year's applicants to submit a GMAT score, folks should keep in mind that if you're a strong test-taker, you could arguably be at a little bit of an advantage over other applicants if you do take the GMAT and submit a score that is above the school's median score for last year's admitted class.

Hey quick question about the essays. When you say the prompt is "an invitation to write," what do you really mean by that? Personally, I am struggling understanding the importance of the prompt and if generally relating my essay to it is acceptable. I want to make the question my own; however, I am worried about straying too far from the prompt. So what if your school doesn’t offer ap micro or macro. There is a elective economics class in my school but it is known around campus as a bs class that u don’t even learn in. I will however be self studying micro and macro senior year,which obviously means I can’t send in my ap test scores. Any thoughts?
