Ukraine Today talks to Denis Šeler Croatian volunteer fighter, Azov Regiment, who has been fighting in east Ukraine alongside Ukrainian armed forces for more than eight months.

@Ivica Radić srbi su mizeran narod koji nema ništa svoje pa tuđe prisvajaju.nemaju svoju kuturu,jezik,pismo,povijest.....i izdajice svog naroda.naime i oni su hrvati samo za razliku od ukrajinaca,poljaka,slovaka,čeha,slovenaca u čijim državnostima i nastajanju njihovog nacionalnog identiteta smo mi uvelike sudjelovali,bosna,crna gora i srbija su se odcijepile od Hrvatske i uz papine blagoslove postali samostalna kraljevstva.....ali ja ih već dugo ne smatram našim narodom jer su nam zabili noz u leđa!

E sad mi je konacno jasno, zasto je Putin tako dugo odugovlacio invaziju. Morao je sacekati, da mu stignu glavne snage iz slavne Srbije. Los omen za Ruse, da Srbi ratuju na njihovoj strani. Pogledajte povijest. Na Kosovu polju Srbin izdaje srbskoga vladara i citavu krscansku vojsku (jer na Kosovu nisu samo srbi ratovali protiv Osmanlija), nekoliko godina poslije toga isti taj Srbin pak izdaje osmanskoga Sultana. I tako vam to kroz citavu povijest. Srbska slava je izdaja, kukavicluk na bojistu. Silvanje i plackanje i paljenje tamo gdje nema otpora.

Ne vodi brigu, jako dobro oni njega razumiju. Viruj mi da su im Škoti ili Irci teži za shvatiti. Meni je veći šok pošto je Čovik iz jedne sredine tipa Zagreb tamo pošao, navijač koji voli Dinamo Zagreb i Hrvatsku itd... Volim i ja Hajduk i Hrvatsku, i bio sam u DR kao pripadnik 6.DP , ali za ovo nebi osobno imao muda... Svaka mu čast i neka ga dragi Bog čuva !

Crusaders found themselves trapped between the army of Sultan Bayezid and his vassals Serbian Prince Stefan Lazarevic and were completely defeated. Thousands of people were killed, 10,000 were captured.. Sigismund escape over Istanbul, Dubrovnik and Split returned to Hungary. The battle was crucial for staying of the Ottomans in the Balkans...

You are misunderstanding it. Serbs in Croatia rebelled and took over 1/3 of Croatia and tried to secede Croatian national territory to Serbia. Which is exactly what those Russian separatists are doing in Ukraine now.

Marco, remember how people from Belgrade throw flowers to tank's column heading to Croatia in '91 - they soon totaly destroyed Croatian city Vukovar and it took 5 year for us (Croatians) to kick them out and win. We did not receive any help from West at the time - moreover we were under arms embargo! Alltogether it makes both of us (Serbia and Croatia as well as other countries attacked by Serbia: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo) regressing while whole world was developing. Now we see the same: UA, RU and whole Europe is regressing while others like USA, CHI are progressing...

Please listen carefuly to what the man is trying to say. He is not against Russians or against Serbs. He went there because he sees the pain of the Ukros is similar to the pain of his own people in the 1990s. He went there because he wanted to help the people of Ukraine to whom he is linked by blood.(Croats came from Zakarpatie in the 7th centaury) He is not against u. He just couldn't just sit and do nothing while his people suffer. Can u sit and do nothing while your people are in peril? If u can, does it hurt? Yes the Croats are alied with US in NATO but to be honest "we don't trust them as far as we can throw them". Joining the NATO aliance is the consequence of Serbian agresion.

What is common for Ukrainians and Croatians is that they are converts.Croatians were orthodox Serbs and Ukrainians were orthodox Russians but over time by influence of Rome-Catholic church's proselytism they at first changed their faith and after that they changed their nationality too.

You had to escape through Crna Gora to the sea, while the real Crnogorci were killing you in the mountains as well. The French had to transport your sorry asses to Corfu to save whatever troops you had left. Read some history books not written by Serbs.
