My gynecologist told me I didn’t need to be checked after I turned 70. Now at age 80 I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Tell women to demand exams. Please.

A few years ago Medicare said no more Pap smears after 65. I never liked that idea at all because of what you just said.

Disappointed that the cancer stage (2,3,4?) was not mentioned by Dr. Lavanya or Trisia. Only jumped straight to the treatment (radiation/chemo). It would have been good to know about the staging process in Trisia's case.

Wow... misdiagnosed! Instead of doing a full body scan and see the real problem. That would help save many lives.

Sometimes a full PET scan won’t detect microscopic cancers x

make sure that you find a good dr. i told mine for 8 months that i had cancer, she didnt believe me or "find it" until 8 months after i told her i had it. stage 3 by the time she found it and yes, it had spread

is it too late to have the vaccines even you are already diagnosed with cancer? Will it still heps?

Yes you can get it, it may stop the anal cancer but they might make u pay.
