Why not just give the rancher money for the livestock that was killed, it would cost a lot less.

Other states have done that, but the money comes from the organizations that wanted to introduce the wolves and after about 2 years the money is gone and the organization don't care. They act like it's not their problem anymore.

@@jahn9960 There is no "out" that's why milk is $10/gallon now. Government spending = inflation. I wonder how much these 5 wolves cost tax payers. All those salary standing behind those boxes can't be cheap $/hr.

Ah yes, if they are in the farm getting livestock, contact a government offical for them to be relocated. Yeah well, by the time they get their the wolve would have killed an entire chicken coop, two cows and be gone. Awsome thinking for a precation.

Wolves in Colorado...lol. Hopefully they wanna try grizzly bear next. Peaceful grizzly bear family enjoys belly scratches in a park in Boulder....lol.

Grizzlies were native too so that would be fair enough. The assessment would mostly be about how much 'space' there is for them in the ecosystem today and the benefit of reintroduction.
