The surgeon dosen't have to remove uterus due to rupture and some women who have ruptured go on to have healthy pregnancy. Rupture is rare and not well understood. The surgeons today can double stitch, think denim stitching. So it would depend on your healing and how the surgeon repaired you. A ct with contrast and sis can help determine how well you healed

That's true. Hysterectomy is only not if the tear is irreparable.

my wife had uterine rupture and we lost the baby .my question is it the doctor's mistake cuz he kept delaying the delivery and totally underestimated the labor happening the day before?

4 months ago...I had uterine rupture from back side... I lost my baby boy...when I can plan another pregnancy...??? And can we go for vbac after uterine rupture?? I have one girl with normal delivery.. And 1 c sec with uterine rupture
