The bad mode for the Thors works wonders against protoss players that like to attack with mass carriers, of course for players that are good with micro probably emp or something else might be better.

DTs are a wonderful unit exactly for that reason. Be prepared, it's easy to get multi purpose detection.

DT imo is fair due to being a glasscannon once scouted, it can't survive a thing ... the ONLY questionable thing is the teleport banshee is an airunit which means it has less counters and even if uncloaked has slightly more survivability and can't be easily chased down without your own air the primary issue with terran is their limited early detection and late continuous detection

Hot take on DTs my guy. Takes 3 tech structures to get to, cost inefficient in a straight up battle, heavily less useful once you get into mid-late game and detection is everywhere. Very balanced unit IMO, which is why you only see it once in a while in pro play.

Have broodlords been buffed? I used to love these units, but they never felt strong(mind, I'm a silly shit tier player). They've always been my favorite unit, but I never see them in any of your video's, not used by you or used against you, until recently. Could make for a fun challenge, using them and swarm host, even though I have no idea how you'd survive the early game doing this / handle mass air :')

with regards DTs, there are tons of things that will stomp you if you don't scout it. i don't think DT is that bad. it is a hard punish for skipping out on detection for sure but without cloak units what point is there in having detection mechanics? if they had energy they would still be just as devestating as they do or die in 30 seconds.
