With Utility Cart, Could be worse, Could've ended up in Quick Sand, If that was the case just in a joking manner and you were standing waiting for the 5:00pm Amtrak Intercity and it's getting later as the clock ticks by, It's probably in the Same Hole as the Utility Cart with the Driver's looking at each other saying well at least we get overtime until they get us out, Now where did I put that bottle of Whiskey, Could be here a while. But really Great Bag and really Well Done, From Australia, Love it. Regards

Actually, the batteries on the Taylor-Dunn utility carts are fragile. The cart at Tucson failed several times, once with a full load.

Funny to see a Canadian Pacific locomotive in Georgia. I know with the rail mergers (especially CP and KCS) you do see locomotives in different areas. When i visited my cousin in Connecticut, I saw an Ferromex locomotive.

Is there a grade at the Flagstaff station that requires the dynamic brakes to be engaged? I was there in 2016 and don't seem to remember a gradient. Let's get a copy of the old "Benny Hill" music for the stranded utility truck!

Some cameras can catch the dynamic brakes overheating where the human eye can't, and it appears as the color purple. It's hazy and is not visible to the normal human eye. (Edited to clarify). Some cameras view this as a bright red. VRF referred to the view of overheated dynamic brakes as Purple Haze.

Thanks for the explanation. I have asked the question before and not had an answer, now I know it’s the dynamic brakes heat exchanger core overheating and that makes sense. Thanks.

Watched the cart episode live. Couldn't believe he didn't stay on the concrete. He's off roaded the cart through the grass multiple times bouncing things off the back, maybe he'll learn from this, maybe not.

I watched it live too, but didn't realize that when he backed up the 1st time, he hit the train until I saw it again. You can see his sideboards move and some piece on the train moves also.
